Milad Lyrics
Question: People nowadays talk about the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabiﷺ in various ways, making it seem like there is no worse act than celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabiﷺ near them. Nevertheless, this is their own belief, and here I continue my argument, responding to them with a reference from the Holy Quran.
Answer: Those individuals who, upon witnessing the joy of celebrating the birth of the Chosen One of the Universe, the Beloved of the Creator of the Universe, Allah the Almighty’s special blessing, Mustafa, the Source of Mercyﷺ, become insane with anger and continuously shower those who present expressions of devotion to the beloved ones in the court of Allah with arrows of criticism, have their own belief.
The Quranic Proof of Milad – Video by Haji Abdul Habib Attari, Dawateislami
The Quran says: “Rejoice in the mercy of Allah.” Allah, the Almighty, says in the Quran:
“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say, ‘In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy – in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate.'” (Translation of Kanzul Imaan; Surah Yunus: 58)
This verse commands that when there is the bounty and mercy of Allah, do not sit with a gloomy face. Just as one should not extinguish a lamp that is burning, expressing gratitude for Allah’s bounty and mercy, being happy with it, and manifesting that joy is not ingratitude; rather, it is encouraged. This is, indeed, better than all accumulated wealth.
“This wealth is nothing; let us plunder our homes as well. There is no one like the rulerﷺ in the world.”
And Allah, the Almighty, while bestowing mercy upon the esteemed personality of the Prophetﷺ, states:
“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.” (Translation of Kanzul Imaan; Surah Al-Anbiya: 107)
In this noble verse, Allah declares the Prophet’sﷺ personality as a mercy.
In another verse, Allah, the Almighty, speaks of sending His beloved Prophetﷺ into the world and acknowledges His favor to the believers. He says:
“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Certainly, Allah conferred a great favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from among themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom, although before that they had been in manifest error.” (Translation of Kanzul Imaan; Surah Aal Imraan: 164)
Indeed, Allah’s great favor upon the Muslims is that among them, He sent a Messenger who recites His verses, purifies them, teaches them the Book and wisdom, and saves them from manifest error.
The Grace of Allah is Allah’s favor. It is evident that the one who understands the mercy of Allah and His favor upon the noble personality of Muhammad Mustafaﷺ will undoubtedly celebrate the joy of his blessed birth. On the other hand, those who do not understand the significance of the Prophet’sﷺ noble personality should reconsider their beliefs.
In a narration found in Sahih Bukhari Volume 2, Page 566, Imam Bukhari reports:
“Hazrat Muhammad Mustafaﷺ is a blessing from Allah.”
It is clear that since the Prophetﷺ is a blessing from Allah, according to this Hadith, the discussion of the noble Prophetﷺ should be appreciated because he himself is a blessing from Allah. If you do not teach the proper way to benefit from Allah’s blessings, despite being blessed, you will remain deprived of those blessings. Misusing blessings turns them into hardships. Mentioning Allah’s pure name keeps you connected to the beloved Allah, who is beloved and sought.
In one place in the Quran, Allah commands:
“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. And as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].” (Translation of Kanzul Imaan; Surah Ad-Duha: 11)
Now, whether this discussion takes the form of a procession celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabiﷺ, a gathering in the form of Milad-un-Nabiﷺ, in the form of Salat-o-Salam, or in the special gathering of Naat Khawani, it is all a remembrance of the blessings of Mustafaﷺ and an implementation of the guidance of the Quran.
In this regard, Aala Hazrat Imam Ahlesunnat says:
“We will continue to raise the clamor of the birth of the Master until the Resurrection. Like the Persian forts, the castles of Najd will keep falling. Enemies may turn to ashes, but we will keep reciting their praises until our last breath.”
Qamarun, Qamarun, Qamarun Sidnan Nabee Qamarun
قَمَرٌ قَمَرٌ قَمَرٌ سِيدْنَا النَّبِي قَمَرٌ
وَجَمِيلْ وَجَمِيلْ وَجَمِيل سِيدْنَا النَّبِي وَجَمِيلْ
CHORUS: Qamarun, qamarun, qamarun sidnan nabee qamarun
Wa jameel, wa jameel, wa jameel sidnan nabee wa jameel
Moon….The likeness of our Prophet is like the moon
Beautiful…Our master is truly beautiful
وَكَفُّ الْمُصْطَفَى كَالْوَرْدِ نَادِي وَعِطْرُهَا يَبْقَى اِذا مَسَّتْ أَيَّادِي

Wa ‘amma nawaaluhaa kullal ‘ibaadi
HabeebuLlaahi yaa khairal baraayaa
The palm of the Chosen One is like a fresh rose
Its fragrance remains upon the hands after a brushing touch
Every servant has received from his gifts
Beloved of Allah, O Best of Creation
Wa laa zhillu lahu bal kaana nooraa (Allah Allah)
Tanaalish shamsa minhu wal budooraa (Allah Allah)
Wa lam yakunil hudaa lawlaa zhuhooraa
Wa kullul kawni -anaara binoori Taha
He had no taint of shadow, rather he was light
The moon and sun both benefited from him
There would have been no guidance without his appearance
The whole universe became illuminated through the light of Ta-Ha
Qamarun, Qamarun, Qamarun Sidnan Nabee Qamarun

Tere gada ke liye taj khusravi kya hai.
Tere karam ka sahara hai zindagi meri,
Tera karam na ho shaamil to zindagi kya hai.
